Haiku or just one big Poem by ~DeathRages:iconDeathRages:

1)
Once a grand master,
now buried six feet under,
glory was torture.

2)
The beds now know grief,
even if the wind is brief,
the truth carried width.

3)
Stop the tale of breath,
dramatic entrance to death,
how far is the depth?

close the curtains... wait no, throw them away, we dont need them no more... there is nothing left to hide... the dead took his secrets with him...

P.S. this is my first time doing haiku... and was wondering why ppl told me this is not a haiku until i realised that haikus are made out of just 3 lines and no stanzas... So err... I seperated all 3 stanzas to individual haikus... WAHAHAHAHA I CHEATED, me ish evil >=) hehehehe... (sinister grin) But i think i would prefer if you all connect all the 3 stanzas together... I think it would make more sense... GLHF reading it

Interesting one here. ^^ Although I don't think you measure "depth" as "how far". :o Meh. It just sounded weird to me. But then, I was thinking "How deep is the depth?" and that struck me as weirder. Lol. Ah well. Don't mind me. ^^

Other than that, I think you did it pretty well. ^^ A rhyming haiku!!! :glomp:

You don't know me.
So don't act like you do.
Don't ask me either,
'Cause I too don't have a clue.

haiku were originally meant to be chained together to tell a story, but the feudal japanese cultural aesthetic preferred the singular beauty of a solitary rose over a garden of roses. i wouldn't consider three haiku a really big poem... but that's just me.
